BlackBerry DEVCON Europe and Asia and DEVCON BlackBerry: announcing the locations and dates!

In may, the Conference of the BlackBerry World ? 2011, we announced the launch of the first ever BlackBerry ? DEVCON DEVCON Europe and Asia the second BlackBerry ?. Now we are happy to tell you the dates and location of these events – BlackBerry DEVCON Asia will be held in December in Bangkok, Thailand with specific dates will be announced shortly. BlackBerry DEVCON Europe will follow Amsterdam, February 7 and 8, 2012.

We are excited to expand these events, as this gives us the opportunity to talk about the latest BlackBerry development, as well as giving you the opportunity to share your experiences and showcase your applications with your community. As such, there is no better way to share your story to answer the Call for Papers. If you haven't yet, submit a document we want to hear from you – in fact, we are extending the deadline to Friday 15 July for BlackBerry DEVCON Asia and Friday 16th September for Europe DevCon. Stay tuned for details on registration and invoicing for two of these events.

BBM Social Platform SDK 1.0 for BlackBerry Java!

After months of development and testing, we are proud to announce the latest version of the social platform BlackBerry ? Messenger (BBM ?) SDK 1.0 for Java ?! We would like to thank our dedicated Community development for all your hard work and diligent reporting bugs, that really helped to develop the platform.

Now that it has launched this version of the SDK, you can start submitting your applications for the BlackBerry App world ? storefront. remember, apps using the new BBM social platform must the user installed, BBM 6 which is currently still in beta.
