If you are not familiar with the Eton Corporation, then probably you. Their products are versatile, endorsed by the American Red Cross designed for emergencies. I had the chance to try several of their products, including the Scorpion and the Raptor.

Axis is a 'self-powered security centre", and it seems to be designed for extreme weather scenarios. Why say that? It is implemented for seven weather channels of band, and the AM / FM bands.

It is powered by a Ni-MH battery that can be loaded by turning a crank abstraction that you see just on the right side of the image. It is possible to use 3 AAA batteries, and then you are configured with a radio, lamp flashlight and much more.

I've stuck in a situation where I was trapped inside my house without electricity, I could use the axis to power my cell phone, provided that he has worked with a USB charging cable.

The axis runs with all the children of features such as a flashing red LED light with the flashlight, audio in and audio ports, more a clock and digital clock. All of this can be purchased for approximately $70.00 on the official site of Eton.
