Announcing the event Apps Hackathon BBM!

I'm excited to tell you about BBM Apps Hackathon contest ("contest") will give developers the opportunity to participate in an exclusive two-day Apps BBM Hackathon event ("event") in New York, where they will receive assistance for building an app that uses the BlackBerry ? platform social Messenger (BBM ?).

Event – taking place on August 11-12, 2011 – will give direct access to people from Research In Motion ? (RIM ?), including members of the BBM development and product teams can help participants understand how to incorporate the social platform BBM. Participants will be able to learn different techniques to integrate viral/social aspects in their application, and experts will be on hand to answer their questions.
