Could myCopter give us the age of the theft of cars finally?

Another day, another car flying. Yes, we've covered cars as the Terrafugia Transition before flight, and the Transition has only obtained the authorization of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

So are we really ready for a new era of flying cars, otherwise known as personal air vehicles (PAVS)? Of this depends on whether people will be responsible for flyers. Yeah, right. Do we really that air-related injuries spike exponentially with the advent of PAV?

After all, I can easily see a group of teenagers out on a joyride and crash a flying car. Or a guy who had too much to drink kill several people by a SCURRYING (Flying Under the Influence). Or some guy who has forgotten to check the gas gauge and plumes of the sky, putting a permanent crater in his town. A hit the jump to read the myCopter solution.

This is where the myCopter. The myCopter system is designed to created a network of partially automated flying vehicles. The goal is to keep flying cars out of the air space controlled, not to mention avoiding other obstacles and fly in formation.

Flying in formation? The myCopter looks like nothing more than a cable-less cable car. Personally, I think that this myCopter would take all the fun and freedom of auto theft. However, I believe that we are decades away from this type of technology, anyway. Leave a comment and tell us what you think.
